We just bought tickets to go to a Brisbane Broncos game on Friday! I’m so excited. We’re playing the North Queensland Panthers. Don’t know if they’re any good or not. I’ve been trying to learn more about the rules and strategy, and once again, Wikipedia has saved the day:
A Comparison of American Football and Rugby League
Much easier to understand when compared to what I know and love! :)

It’s great to talk about American sports here, especially college sports because it’s so huge in the US, and not big here at all. I love showing people pictures Carter Finley and they’re blown away that it’s a COLLEGE football stadium capable of holding 50,000 people, and games always get sold out. Go Pack!

    Hey Hannah,
I can see why you’ve fallen in love with Australia!
Frasier Island appears to be a piece of heaven. Is it the Satinay tree that’s so monstrous? I loved those ferns too.

Your Easter Swag Safari should be a blast. Have you seen any of those dingo dogs?

Speaking of rugby while in Savannah for St. Paddy’s day your Uncle and I stumbled (perfectly sober mind you) into an all-rugby-all-the-time bar. The fans were rabid. I watched for some time but had a hard time figuring out the downs etc.

As far as basketball goes we can’t contain our excitement as the Final Four games approach. Looks like Matt and your Uncle Karl will be in Atlanta.

Appreciate the way you are bringing Australia to us via your blog.

    Love
    Aunt Renee

Awesome! I was going to look into getting tickets to a soccer (err football) and/or rugby game while in Spain, but the season apparently ends right before I’d be there. Grr. Who knows if there are even tickets available though.
