What’s up? I’ve gotten really out of the habit of posting…not sure why, but I haven’t really had anything blog worthy or couldn’t muster up the energy to make something boring sound witty and cool like a certain blogger new to the blogosphere.

So, I’ve been truckin’ along this semester. Schools bleh, next semester looks hopeful, though slightly daunting. I went sea kayaking this weekend with scholars, and Brittany. It was a great escape. Relaxing mentally, demanding physically–a good combination.

NYC was also a lot of fun. A different sort of relaxation, but we all had a great time. Ate a lot of delicious food and spent too much money on sweet clothes!

I’m going to the Avett Brothers/Guster concert Friday night…I’m really looking forward to that. The football game Saturday should be a lot of fun too. I also have this practice mock interview that I’m doing on Tuesday. For some reason, I have a real drive to nail it. Hopefully that happens.

I miss Australia a lot, and the general feeling of being away a bit. Time to hunker down I suppose, but it’s harder than I thought it would be.

That new layout will be around sometime, promise.

So, I’ve had massive amounts of comment spam lately so (with a suggestion from kyleabaker, thanks kyle!) I installed a capcha for posting comments. All you have to do is correctly type in the number you see in the image before you post. You can’t post your comment if you type it in incorrectly. Hopefully this will help out the spam, and not inconvenience you peacies too much!

I’ve been in the mood lately, so a new layout is in the works! Get ready! :) Maybe I’ll finish it before fall break? Jessica had a sneak peak and seems to like the idea…so hopefully it will be good. I JUST NEED TO LEARN VECTORS. GRR. Only Jossoco understands. Sigh.

Jessica, Maggie, and I are going to NYC tomorrow morning. We leave bright and early at 4:30am! Sweet! We’re flying up there, meeting up with my dad, and staying with my cousin. We’ll be back Sunday. I’m really excited!
