Ahh…so you may have noticed that the site was down for a few days. Not sure what was up with that…something with my server, but I’m glad it’s back up and good again. I’m thinking I’ll try to get the new layout up this weekend, but we’ll see!
Brittany and I, and our dads, went to go see Nancy Pelosi (Speaker of the House of Representatives) today at Meredith. She was fantastic. I really enjoyed all that she had to say, and was impressed by her overall. She gave a brief but thoughtful speech, and then answered several questions. Her answers were generally on point and very smart. She had great things to say about Congress’ effectiveness, and all that they are working on to turn around the direction of policy in America. It was empowering to hear her speak about her experience as the first woman Speaker of the House. Although I am a supporter of Barack Obama, I still really like Hillary a lot, and seeing Nancy Pelosi speak made me more excited about Hillary. I love election season! I also really want to watch a lot of West Wing right now.
