21 Years: A Review

I must say it has been a great 21 years, and I hope I’ll have another great 21 years. Although I could talk all day about my experiences, opportunities, and challenges (oh wait, that would be an autobiography), I’ll just say a few things.

I’ve accomplished many of the goals (personal and otherwise) that I’ve set for myself. There is one in particular that I remember, which is actually sort of funny. I remember telling someone (maybe it was you?) in either middle school or high school that it was a goal of mine to eat real chinese food in China. I really liked chinese food at this point in time, and sort of off-handedly set this “goal.” Who’d have thought, though, that a few years later I would eat Chinese food in China, and, as weird as some of it may have been, enjoyed it!

It was also a goal of mine to skydive. Luckily, I’ve bungy jumped too! :)

Someday I hope to make it to all of the continents. 4 out of 7 is not too shabby!

Those are all the sort of goals that we can physically achieve and really aren’t as important as some. All that said, I can honestly say I have enjoyed every day of each of my 21 years, and I have no real regrets. I feel though, that now more than ever I am surrounded by wonderful friends and family, and you are the ones who have made my life all that it is. Thank you!
