This whole album, Fox Confessor Brings the Flood, is great. One of my fellow forestry buddies played it in the car on our way out to a plot.

Tree measurements for the UFORE (Urban Forest Effects) project are finished! Now I will have some free afternoons and maybe be tick free for a while! Brittany–thanks for all the tick checks!

Ahh…what a beautiful day today! I went out to Umstead to do tree measurements today, I forgot how much I love Umstead! Our plot didn’t have too many trees, so we got done pretty fast. There was still so much beautiful day left, that Kara and I decided to go on our perfect date. haha. Did you know there’s a Sonic now near the Harris Teeter on Western and Jones Franklin!? WOW! Happy Hour is my new favorite thing. I got us a delicious Lemon Berry slushy and an ocean water yummm. So then I picked up Kara and we headed over to Lake Johnson for a great walk around the lake, and to my favorite stream! Ahh…nothing better on a gorgeous day. Then Kara had the fabulous suggestion of eating dinner at Neomonde! Mmmmm…what more could you ask for? I love great days.
