$1,000!

First of all, Happy 21st Birthday to a true peacie and fan, Sara! Good times last night!

Back in March I applied for a scholarship from the NC Association of Environmental Professionals. They told us that the decision would be made at the beginning of May, and we would be notified then. Since I didn’t hear anything, I just assumed I didn’t receive it and forgot all about it. Well, I just got an email saying I received a $1,000 scholarship! I’m so excited and happy!

I had my first classes at Wake Tech this week. I am taking Physics and Sociology. Sociology is really, really easy. It’s kind of early, and a lot to sit through for two hours straight, but it’s pretty interesting. Physics so far seems okay. Most of the people in there are NCSU students.  Hopefully it won’t kill me too much. I’m following everything pretty well, and understanding things that I totally didn’t get when I had Owen for a couple weeks last fall.
