We will be carving this in our pumpkin!
I took the GRE today and did pretty well!
I would like to send thanks to several people/places for helping me maintain my sanity this week:
Davis, for graciously letting me use his laptop.
Maggie, for picking me up from the library so I didn’t have to weather the Werewolf.
Shanghai Express, for supplying me with valuable brain food.
Cup a Joe, for keeping my brain alive.
The lady at Bojangles this morning for saying “I love your hair color!”
Ratatat for calming my nerves during a ridiculous afternoon mini-traffic jam on the beltline.
and…ANDRE for post-test fun. thanxxxxx.
I love life in this free coffee town.
I THINK YES.

Unless anyone has a better idea!

Noah and the Whale – 5 Years Time
I am by no means one of those anti-group work people because I can’t work with others, but I sure am tired of TOO MUCH group work. I understand teachers want us to “learn to work as a team” like we would “in the real world,” but I sure can’t handle all this “real worldness” this semester, especially since I have a real job in the real world, a real GRE to take, a real life to mess with, without having to coordinate with TEN other individuals. Yes, collectively I am working with ten other people on three different projects. Three group work projects for different classes is just killing me. Especially with DESIGN projects. There’s only so much you can do as a group, only one person can be on InDesign at once! AHH. /vent
I have now officially voted in my first presidential election, and more importantly, I am now officially an OBAMA VOTER.
I finished my voting and was sitting proudly outside of Pullen Arts Center, waiting for Jasmine to finish voting. I saw this little boy, probably seven or eight years old, walk out with his mom with a big smile on his face. He had an Obama shirt on. I also had my Obama shirt on, and said, “Hey, awesome shirt!” He smiled even bigger and said “THANKS!” and reached up to give me a high five! Is there anything more American than that? Love it.
Jasmine and I went and got a beer to celebrate our first vote in a presidential election, and even more celebratory, a vote for the next PRESIDENT.

SOMEONE STOLE THE BEAUTIFUL MUM I HAD SITTING AT OUR FRONT DOOR.
Why? Why, plant thief, would you do this? THAT IS SO MEAN.
Give me my mum back! It brought me so much joy every time I got home!
Grr. But in other news, THIS WEEK IS OVER, THANK THE LORD. It was a doozy. But it’s done. Whew.
Just wanted to give a warm welcome and shout out to the newest aimp reader, Brittany aka B*johnz. Whhhaaat up girl.
